Moving to Next Highlighted Cell

Hi


I have a long column of true/false statements in Excel 2007. I have used conditional formatting to highlight the FALSE statements. Since there are over 4000 lines of data, I would like to know if there is a command to move from one highlighted cell or FALSE statement to the next highlighted cell or FALSE statement.

This is one way to do it but be careful I am going to wipe your formulas


Select the area with the True/Falses

Copy the cells and Paste as Values

With the cells still selected Ctrl F

Find What: Enter FALSE

Click the Find All button

It will show a list of all the FALSES

Ctrl A

Close the Find Dialog


All the Falses will be selected

You can now Tab through the list using the TAB key


You may want to use a Helper Column to save duplicates of your formulas before you trash them


Unfortunately Find doesn't work on the Displayed values of the Formula Cells

Thanks for such a quick reply. I may not have been clear with my request. I would like to highlight a column of TRUE and FALSE statements and move to or go to the first FALSE statement then the next FALSE statement. The reason for this is that when I find a FALSE statement, I need to delete 3 or 4 lines of data. Are there any other options that do not wipe out the formula?

As I said maybe use a helper column off to the side and copy the True/falses into them as values, so that your formula are still in tact


The only other way to do it is with VBA

and explain the criteria and what you want deleted and when/why
 
Referring to Hui's original idea of using the Find Dialogue, I'm not sure you really need to detroy the formulas. Under Options, you should be able to change the "Look in" drop down to "values", and then do the Find All.
