Most useful Excel addin : Paid or Free

I am planning to buy some (2-3) most useful addin.

I have Excel 2013, 64 Bit addition.

Primary purpose is

1) Time Saving
2) Data analysis
2) Probability and Statistics.

One addin dedicated for each area will also work if we don't have a master piece to cover all area.

i have some name in mind as ASAP Utilities or Power utility pack from John , XL tool box etc. Please suggest the best.

The primary choice for choosing Add-in's is in what functionality You need and then finding one that matches that.

You may find it simpler and cheaper to write your own macros and add them to your own Personal.xlsx file so that you can have your own shortcuts available to you

I personally don't use any Add-ins anymore. I used to use the PUP from J-Walk and it has some great tools inside it.

If you want to process large volumes of data, I'd recommend starting to look at the Microsoft Power addin's Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Map, Power BI etc

I use a few.

1. ErlangXL - adds UDF useful for call centre/traffic analytics
2. MySQL for Excel - To connect to MySQL database and import/edit data
3. Solver Add-in - From Microsoft
4. Custom Calendar - Since different versions of Excel has issue with ActiveX Date Picker.
