Please confirm whether it is working bcz have used it for first time. My browser is not supporting the file properly and some stuff is not being displayed. It will be better if you download the file.

what do you mean by location? Same city? :) I do't know VBA either, two days back i purchased J-Walk's book 'For dummies...' and that is still in cupboard waiting to be opened and read.

You can learn a lot on this website just stay connected and see what other are doing and by giving your own opinion. That is what i have found to be the best way to learn.

Am waiting for your response for my sheet BTW might it help you in this regard.

BRO Search option sheet is reflecting only .. Not the Data !..and if the Container no. is wrong so it would says Missing ! to all the data available against it >? Is there a possibility for :

if the data data in

row no. 5 completely matches the compared data and place the data given in E column of Your Data in the J of Terminal Data ?

for eg :

Your Data

TRLU3851980 CMB 500 Pre

if match so

Pre should reflect in

Terminal DATA

TRLU3851980 CMB 500 Pre like this ?

i'll get to check it properly this Fridays against the Actual data.!!...

yup Karachi!!...

if you get to open that book so bro can you email it to me!

Nice to find a Karachite here :) I think i should first explain what each sheet is for. The first sheet is for comparison, it gives you a visiual presentation of data to find out mismatches, It will tell you any sough of mismatch by a 'Cross symbol' against it so that you can readily see what is going wrong and why.

The second sheets comes in when 'container no' is wrong or missing. The search sheet provides you with an option to see and match for a possible correct container no. you can enter the alpha numeric part of it and see for matching quantity and destination.

As far as matching is concerned, it will do match. The sheet will take 'your data' as standard, will go to 'terminals data' and will put it against 'your data' and if a mismatch is found or an entire container is missing, it will show that in the last three columns of the 'Compare' sheet, I think you should download it and check properly.

I can't find your email address, will you provide me one, i will mail you the sheet.Nice to meet you.

x.cruc1at3@gmail.com...well i have downloaded it and checking it...

i check it out and saw that if the DEST and QTY is ok but the Container No. is wrong so all the result shows missing rite !

would be able to check it again the actual data!!...

i order to get the result out...

Hi Faseeh,

I like yours better than mine, very nicely presented (especially like the search option). I'd suggest making some minor adjustments, namely change all the OFFSET formulas to INDEX formulas to remove the volatility.
