Making of Dashboard

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums
I'd suggest that you start by reading about dashboards here:

Next is to plan your dashboard
Where is it going to be displayed, on screen or printout as that defines the size of your dashboard
What do you want displayed, Text, charts, tables etc
What period or reporting
what interactivity etc
Then build it.
In there I'd suggest talking to the dashboards future audience as they may want to see certain data or have it displayed in certain ways
There are lots of examples here especially in the various Dashboard Competitions
