Macro to Copy Cells after a Scenario execution and making static dashboards

Hi Gurus!

I am looking for a Macro(well my guess is that it can be done using a macro), which will help me perform the following:


Current Situation:

1. A spreadsheet which has built in 'Drop Downs' ( % Commission, % Overheads, Cost of Goods sold, etc.) which are linked to other parameters in the sheet for computing a Sales Report. With each parameter selection the end report dash board dynamically changes.


So far so good.


Assistance Required :

2. As I make the various selections, the dashboard changes dynamically. However, what I would like to see is a compassion dashboard. Example: What is the change/ difference between the Scenario 1 and Scenario 2. Say in Scenario 1, I keep % Commission @ 5%, Overheads 10% and COGS 1.2 , the Profit resulting is Rs 100 and in Scenario 2 I change % Commission to 10%, Overheads 15% and COGS 0.5, the resulting is Rs 95.


Now my dashboard in Scenario 1 will show Rs 100 and in when i select Scenario 2 it will dynamically update and show me Rs 95.

But what I would like to see is when I Select scenario 2. the results and parameters set for scenario 1 are copied before scenario 2 is applied and pasted as a 'Static' reference point and then I can compare the 'OLD' scenario and the 'NEW' scenario.


Looking forward to some suggestion on how the above requirement can be achieved.

I've got the same problem ).


Created a table with a range of products where i should find the best discount rate for each sku, to do it I have a dynamic graph with a scroll menu.


So when I put product number in a specified cell the graph will appear for this product where I can play to choose best discount to get highest profit and revenue and all this linked to my overall table where I can see total profit and revenue, so by scrolling the disc rate I can see changing for this prod and total result in my overall table.


The problem is I dont know how to save this result and start playing with another product because I have the same specified cells with margin, profit etc to organize good interface. To copy paste the results for each product in to the table is not very good solution as it won’t be possible to see overall result by scrolling the discount.
