Macro: Horizontal sort which involves merged cells

Hello
I am trying to sort columns G-DL on the attached file by the numbers in Row 5 (smallest first). I am encountering issues because the data contains merged cells. However
I think I need to keep the cells merged because I want to keep the blocks of data (eg. Columns G & H) together. I wish to present the data in the same format that it is currently in I just need to sort the 'blocks' into a different order each month according to the number in row 5.

Do you know if this is possible with a macro or are you aware of any other way to do this?

Thanks
Lauren
