Macro for converting PNG file to Excel

Hi Team,

I am having a lot of PNG files with Time entry for each associates.

Need your help to convert the same into excel through macro.

currently we are not using any conversion tool due to access restriction and hence we manually open all files and update data manually into excel files.

Is there any way to automate the conversion to Excel ?

maybe just by activating Macro Recorder before to
« manually open a file and update data »
you will get a free base of VBA code !

We will not be able to record macro, since i open the PNG file n i remember the hours already updated in png file and I type manually into excel. Hence recording is not possible

As Macro Recorder is the tool to automate Excel …

So we are not able to help without a crystal clear technical explanation
and some attachments …

And with « access restriction » like working with graphic files as data
I don't foresee a light in this very dark tunnel !

Maybe if you can use an OCR software to convert PNG files to text files …

from the attahced file I need the customer id, name and project name in separate columns through Macro.

you must « use an OCR software to convert PNG files to text files » …

Why do You have 'a lot of PNG files with Time entry for each associates'?
Why do You get those with PNG-format if You need to use those with Excel?
Could You get those 'pictures' with other format?

I'd ask whoever is supplying the PNG's can they supply CSV Files
