Looping condition check

First of all, a great site. Got redirected over here from pagalguy.com article speaking about the same. I am a beginner in excel, and hope to excel in it.


Here is my doubt:


Say I have a value of 'x' in D4, & a value of 75 in K2

Now in C6, I want a value 'y' based on the value in D4.

The value in C6 should be a multiple of value of K2 and greater than or equal to the value in D4.


For eg:

When x=100, y=150

When x=75, y=75

When x=151, y=225


Am using excel 2010.

You can simplify that formula a tad


=K2*(INT(D4/K2)+(MOD(D4,K2)<>0))
