Look for U's and D's in a pattern within several rows

Hi, Luke M!
I can't see what you've done regarding the next game (which BTW I don't understand what OP wants), so could you please enlighten my ignorance darkness with a drop of your wisdom?
Regards!

Hi, Jack-P-Winner!
So with the Luke M's fix you've got either the sum of digits of for each game and the prior/next games for each match? I'd swear that only the 1st thing was solved and that the 2nd was pending, but if you say everything is done, I believe you.
Regards!

SirJB7,

If game 24 matches criteria, Jack wants game 24 and game 25 copied to the output sheet. That is what "next game" meant to me.

Hey guys, can we take this one step further and the answers that are found after the letters I am searching for .... can it be separated to a different section either on the same sheet or the next sheet over. For example. If I am looking for EEOOE , it brings up all the ones that follows this I want to take all the ones that follow EEOOE to a separate area to evaluate

Can you elaborate more on what you mean by "follows this"?
Does it mean:
e.g., game 24 is a winner. Copy games 25+ to separate worksheet

Correct. Game 24 is a winner. Copy next game up 1 row to separate sheet When. Search for say UUDDUU. it finds all the UUDDUU plus the game above it. I want the game above it to go to another page

Took a bit of work, but I've modified the macro to produce a second output sheet. Tried to maintain the structure the SirJB7 has started.

Luke,

It's working good. I know it's doing a lot plus I'm looking at 2000 lines and all but t takes almost 30 minutes to run. I can hit esc and it does stop is thus normal or can it be sled up ? Please PLEASE I APPRECIATE ALL YOUVE DONE Just curious. And again THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 30 minutes is a lot faster than manually doing it lol

I ended up coming up with a new macro rather than trying to manipulate previous. No longer has all the fancy options that SirJB7's had, and not as much error handling, but it's fast and dirty.

Again thanks Luke. I will check this out when I get home and on my laptop. I wish they would come up with some decent software foe the iPad when it comes to excel unless you or someone knows of something that works well with the iPad

No sir, Candy Crush? My wife plays this all the time LOL I guess this is your way of telling me I need to chill and play a game LOL
