Firstly welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums

When you say setting up a log scale?

If it is on a Chart,

Right Click the Axis

Format Axis

Tick the Logarithmic Scale Check Box

Change the Log Base if required, it Defaults to 10

If that isn't what you mean please elaborate?

Hi,

I have managed to do the graph but when I change it to log scale the lines do not represent correcly.

It stays ok fro one line but the remaining two then present in a different manner - when using scatter plot.

Thanks for your response.

I couldn't work out which series were being charted but made a guess anyway

I have made as sample using your data at

https://rapidshare.com/files/2920236361/BEDDING_SAND__Hui_.xlsx

It is a X-Y or Scatter chart

As you found out the Area Charts don't allow Log X Axis

I have added some intermediate series which you can adjust to suit your data
