List Box Shrinks in Dashboard (Excel 2010)

Hi,

I am using excel 2010. In Dashboard I have used many list boxes however they shrinks if opened on another terminal.

1. Are the List Boxes from Forms menu or ActiveX?
2. Is there a Workbook_Open event?
3. Is the zoom changing?
4. After they shrink, are they still shrunk if opened on your terminal?

• Is the zoom changing? Yes, also listbox shrinks

• After they shrink, are they still shrunk if opened on your terminal? Yes.

It's a fairly common bug which affects ActiveX controls. It's particularly prevalent when you remote onto another computer which has a different screen resolution. Incidentally there's an even worse bug with ActiveX listboxes which can cause Excel to crash if the zooms are different on different sheets!

My advice (which I've given on here before) is not to embed ActiveX controls on worksheets. Perhaps consider if the more limited Forms listbox meets your needs. If you must use the ActiveX listbox then you could try setting its IntegralHeight property to False.
