Large table with traditional formulas. Can I convert this easily to a structured reference

I have a large complex table w traditional formulas (EX: =A1+B1+C1). I have just learned a little about structured references and would love to convert my old table into a structured reference for much needed clarity. I see that converting a table to a structured reference is quite easy using the Create Table (Ctrl - T) option. However my formulas are still in the traditional format and not in a structured reference format.

If anyone knows of a macro or other means to transition my formulas to a structured reference it would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to provide an example if it helps.

Thanks, Shawn

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums

There is no easy way

You will need to create the Table
Then goto each cell in Row 2 with a formula and recreate it
It will be applied to the column automatically when you press enter

A once only cost in time to save you plenty in the future

Hi,

Thanks for the help and the quick response. I think I'll attack my spreadsheet in sections. I'll start w the most complicated formulas and recreate them as you mention. This will allow me to more easily review the more difficult sections and not kill myself trying to update at one time.
