Hello,
Firstly, I'm sorry to ask a very non-Excel question on Chandoo's site. However, given that many of Chandoo's readers live in India, I thought it was also the perfect place to post a question about Indian music.
As a child, my wife lived in India for about a year. She and her family were volunteers at an orphanage in Sarapaka.
At any rate, the other day she and her brother were trying to recall the title of what seemed to be the most popular song in India when they were living there--1993/94. They can remember the chorus, but they don't have a clue how it was spelled. A quasi-phonetic spelling is something like "chera-paka, chera-paka ri-lay."
Does this chorus sound familiar to anyone? If so, do you know the title/artist of the song? It's perhaps a trivial matter, but it would be fun for me to be able to tell them the name of the song so that they perhaps could here it again.
Much thanks,
DB
