Import data from master sheet into other sheets within workbook without using VBA

I have a master sheet in my workbook called LEVELS which contains pricing data for currencies. There are three columns of data for each currency pair. Each currency pair also has its own named worksheet within the workbook like EURUSD, EURJPY, USDCAD.

I need to import the data for each currency pair from the LEVELS sheet into each of the respective named currency sheets.

I attached a simple workbook as an example of what I need. Thanks.

Hi westend9876,

without any code, you have to enter a formula in the first cell, Excel beginner basics !

For example in cell B1 of EURUSD tab : enter = sign and thus click on LEVELS tab,
select cell B3 and valid by ENTER key.
Select cell B3 and by its lower right coin (sign +), copy to the right.
Now copy the same way both down … Voilà !

You succeed for the fisrt tab, do the same for others …

Nothing!!!:)
Jusy copy paste in desired sheet.
I tried that. I copied the formulas in USDCAD to EURUSD. But when go to sheet EURUSD and press F9 to calculate the EURUSD sheet (because I turned off auto calculate) the values from sheet USDCAD are changed to those in EURUSD. The same thing happens when I go back to USDCAD sheet and press F9. The values are corrected in USDCAD sheet but changed in EURUSD to those in USDCAD.

Hi Deepak ,

Instead of using RIGHT(CELL("filename"),6) , use RIGHT(CELL("filename",$A$1),6).

See the file.

Hi Deepak ,

Hi. There is one problem with these formulas from both Deepak and Narayan that occurs when the column is two letters like AA, AB, AC, AD:

=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&CHAR(MATCH(RIGHT(CELL("filename",$A$1),6),LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+65)&ROW()+1)
=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&CHAR(MATCH($J$1,LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+65)&ROW()+1)

What do you do then?

Try this..

B2=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&ADDRESS(ROW()+1,MATCH(RIGHT(CELL("filename"),6),LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+1,4,1))

C2=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&ADDRESS(ROW()+1,MATCH(RIGHT(CELL("filename"),6),LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+2,4,1))

Try this..

B2=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&ADDRESS(ROW()+1,MATCH(RIGHT(CELL("filename"),6),LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+1,4,1))

C2=INDIRECT("LEVELS!"&ADDRESS(ROW()+1,MATCH(RIGHT(CELL("filename"),6),LEVELS!$B$1:$G$1,0)+2,4,1))
Hi Deepak. These two formulas do not work. Thanks.
