Please suggest the modification into formula

Try this :

=INDEX($B3:$D3, MATCH(FALSE, ISERROR($B3:$D3), 0))

entered as an array formula , using CTRL SHIFT ENTER.

Thanks as it worked.
Can't it be done through If function without using Index and Match as I am not not well aware with using False, Istext function into formula. Else suggest the webpage where can I get details about this formula to understand it better. It will help me to improve excel formula understanding

Hi ,

Using an IF function is possible in this case , where only 3 cells are involved , but scaling this method to hundreds of cells is impossible , since the IF function has a limit of 64 or in earlier versions a mere 7.
