Hi..


I have the Trainig Sheet, in which i want use the " If Condition".


Name of the Staff Session Name Status Notes

Raj

Rakesh

Subodh

In D2 cell there should be formula with the option that if i select- "Attended" in cell C2 then In Notes section it should automaticall show "Completed" with the green Status or if not then Red with "Pending".

can someone help me with formula...
 
You can use formula: =IF(C2="Attended","Completed","Pending")


By doing color: Conitional Formatting->New Rule->Format only cells that contains->click drop down-> select specific text-> containing->"Pend" again new rule for "Completed"

But In C2 the Attended and Pending is not showing(Its showing the Blank Cell). can you pls help me in this too..
 
Dear Prazad82, i just modified your formula, =IF(C2="","",IF($C2="Attended","Completed","Pending")) to check blank or non blank cell in c column
