Ideas Pls in MIS

Hi,


I am working in the MIS dept, I create revenue, cost & gross margins, what else can be done by an MIS person. Request you to pls suggest me a few ideas.

Here are some clues,

> what is your boss interested in knowing

> what numbers, information can make your teams job easy

> how can use numbers to predict a trend in say increased spending or raising inventory or something like that?


obviously, it all boils down to what your audience need to know.

That right, but the thing is they have told me whatever you want to do with the given data u do and tell us, we will run all of them on trial basis & finally come out with a few things which will be carried month on month, thats y I wanted a few ideas

Cost Analysis, Trends, vs Budget, By Area, etc

Look at productivity ratios, Cost & Revenue vs Time or Inputs
