i have textbox created in excel in userform formatted as phone number but it want let me clear by back space

I have text box in user form formatted as phone number when i enter the phone number for example 402-975-3969 but if i make a mistake and back space to clear the text box i will clear only -3969 it want let me clear rest.

Have You tried to move one step to left by arrows or by mouse?
... and without a sample file, that is a challenge to verify.
