I am not able to change the date as 30 Sep 2013

Sir, in excel i want to change date 30 Sep 2013 but its not getting as per format.

Hi Sarfraz,

Two method:

1. Use Text to column from Data Tab
2. Select cell Press F2 and press enter

The dates in col A are currently stored as text. To convert, select col A, then go to Data - Text to Columns. Select Delimited, then hit Next twice. Select Date option and DMY from dropdown, hit Finish.

Copy date cell to notepad & then post back to xl.
Change the date format & done!!!

Sir, what is the way to Select cell Press F2 and press enter if there is huge data because this method work fine for all cases

Leave that method, for large data set, try Text to column.
