How to zoom in part of graph in Excel?

Hey there,

I am trying to zoom in a part of line graph in Excel and here is what i did: selecting y axis, and then holding Ctrl and left click with mouse and move the mouse to form zoom in range. However, I even cannot move the mouse to form zoom. What should I do?

PS: I think, using Ctrl Key, you are just increasing Sheet's View, not zooming the graph..
Please upload a sample file, and brief lil bit more, what actually you want..

Well not increasing worksheet's view but zooming in Y axis of a bar graph..

The original problem is asking for zooming a range of 0 to 6000 on y axis to 3500 to 5000, which could be helpful for analyzing the trend of line graph. And now I am doing is to set up the y axis range to the fixed scope instead of by using zooming button or things like that.
