How to separate numbers and words

Hi,
I have a words which is a mixed of numbers and words. I need to extract the numbers and words separately.
My data will look like this

1234abcd1234
123abcds1257
123456abcd12358
1234 abcd%1234

Can some one help.

After you have extracted the numbers , extracting the text is not so difficult.

OK. In that case, your thread title is misleading. I think a more appropriate thread title would have been "Extract Numbers From Text". Wouldn't you agree?
