How to remove dead link to chandoo.org from spreadsheet

Hi everyone,


One of my colleagues created a great dashboard using templates from Chandoo, but every time we open it there is an error message:


"Unable to open http://chandoo.org/Documents and Settings/duggirp.NWIE/Desktop/Post ideas.xls. The Internet site reports that the item you requested could not be found. (HTTP/1.0 404)."


I'm pretty sure that the only thing he directly copied from the Chandoo template into our dashboard is a "gauge / speedometer" chart.


This message is followed by a "one or more links could not be updated" message, but in the Edit Links box there is no reference to Chandoo (or any other website); all of the linked Excel sheets seem to update just fine.


Does anyone know how to debug this and/or remove the links to Chandoo? The errors are a real nuisance.

Even without the data, it still generates the error.

Hi, wgarnerr!

Check the named ranges "filteredList" and "filterList", they both are still linked to chandoo's website.

I haven't analyzed the workbook, but if you are not using them, just delete and check if everything's still ok.
