How to extract file names from a particular folder using Excel (VBA).

Hi,


I have a particular folder on my machine. The folder contains around 500-600 files.

All the files are in “GIF” format. I want to extract all the file names in an excel sheet for further processing.

I can open the file using VBA but somehow I am not able to understand how I will get all the file names without opening the file.

Can anyone assist me in this, any & every help is welcome.


P.S. I can not use "cmd", have to use Excel VBA only.
