How to display the data in negative value

I have the following data : -

Further, extra row is to be created and the same value to be displayed in negative value in all the columns. How to do this.

Hi VDS,
Please upload file as suggested, however, I would ask you to consider adding columns to your table for the negative values and not rows.

If you add rows, it will make it difficult to do any analysis you may want to do later and also make it more difficult to use pivot tables.

Thanks for your patience.

The data pertains to a construction company. Payments are received against various RA bills for different sites. The attached data pertains to one site. "Column A to H" shows the "Receipts and "Columns F to P" shows the "Deductions". In Order to calculate the actual work done, this procedure is being followed year wise. The pattern of work also explained in second Row (A3 to V3). Value is to be entered in each head against various RA Bills. While entering data, figures are to be updated and printed each time till finalization. For eg. If Net amount is (Q=H-O-P), is Rs 100, corresponding value of Payment received (Column R) can be more than one time and like that.

Queries being put up

  1. Before taking print, border line should be printed for all columns and rows and where no data is available in any of the cell, the particular row should be automatically deleted. In other words, all value of Net amount (Column Q) and value of Payment received (Column R) in each row against RA Bills should be shown.

  1. In some cases, the data in entire row A17 should be shown in negative figure ie.,
G16 =11,920,883 & G17 = (11,920,883). How to multiply the value with (-) ?.

I feel it is a tedious work, but current organization wants timely outputs. Please suggest your solutions.

Very difficult to visualise, can you please upload your file, please include what the final product should look like on a separate sheet, with the source of each element.

I imagine you are looking to print a report for each site in an "Invoice" like format, but we need you file.

If you simply want to have G17 to show G16's value in negative then:

But I do agree with the others about the columns vs rows.
