How to change formula?

I am trying to change the formula in Column L
from: =IF(D18<>"",D18*K18,"")
to: =IF(D18<>"",D18*K18,"-")

A former co-worker created this and is no longer reachable.
How do I change the formula?

Removing data validation... select cells, Data tab, Data Validation, Allow any data (or something alike).

1) 'just' go an activate one (the 1st) 'L-column'-cell
2) Clear it's 'Data Validation'
3) Edit that formula
4) Make that 'Data Validation' back
5) Pull down to get same formulas and data validations to other needed cells
