How to add the number 1 to a user name

I have a list of user names that I need to add the number 1 to complete an 8 character user name, if the user name has 8 characters no action is required.
For example:

smith convert to smith111taylorG convert to taylorG1johnsonB do nothing as the user name has 8 Characters

assuming the name is in cell A1 in B1
=IF(LEN(A1)<8,A1&REPT("1",8-LEN(A1)),A1)
