You want to add a Calculated Field

Refer: http://chandoo.org/wp/2010/02/25/p-l-reports-calculated-fields-3/

Hi Hui,

Yes i want to calculate Field as said in my Previous Question i have even uploaded the sample file for the same.

Actual file will be updated with the fresh data every month.

i want it be shown as Formula or VBA which will help me to say how that was calculated.

you can try with Calculate field on the sample file that i have uploaded.

Thanks

santhurcv In the worksheet with your pivot table click on table then in the ribbon, choose PivotTableTools then Options, then in the calculations section choose Fields, Items and Set then click on Calculation Field,

The link posted by Hui gives very clear working instructions on inserting a calculated field.
