A anoopbal New Member Dec 6, 2010 #1 How do you highlight the coloumn when the date is Today in the top date row. This is for a daily task list. This way I can see what day is today. I can highlight the cell when the date is today with conditional formatting. But cannot get the column of the cell to highlight.

A anoopbal New Member Dec 6, 2010 #5 Cool. Thanks . That was easy! I got no clue how that dollar sign works.
Hui Excel Ninja Staff member Dec 6, 2010 #6 The Dollar sign says only look at Row 1 so for D50 it is looking at Cell D1 and comparing the date If you didn't have the $ sign D50 would look at D50 and not have a date and so not be conditionally formatted
