Help with Pivot Table - show value as

Hi
I'm trying to put together a pivot table to show the values only but for some reason when I drag the range into the Value section and I click into the value field setting and choose show value as . It's gray out.
I don't want to show the sum of the values just the value as it is.
Please help and provide instructions on how I do this.

If you could upload your workbook with the data and the pivot table in it , a more precise solution could be given.

Hi ,

When I open the file , I get a message saying that since this pivot table has been created in a later version of Excel , I cannot edit it.

If you follow the steps given in the link I posted earlier , you should get what you want.

Please ignore my previous request. I found out the reason why it didn't work.
I had cell had the currency in it instead of a whole number. that was the cause.
