Help on building chart- urgent

itsvinihere

New Member
Hi,

I am trying to build a chart which needs to highlight the development of one parameter influencing the other parameter from one year to another year. So, I have all the details of parameter X and parameter Y for year 2000 & 2001. I would like to represent the effect of development of parameter X on the parameter Y as a trend in these 2 years. nThis see this representation similar to the Grammy Bump chart.

I would request for a assistance at the earliest.

Kindly do mail me or respond here to help me on how can I do this representation.

how about a line chart? If there's only 2 series, you could easily see the correlation between the 2 lines. If you want to get a little fancier, you could try building a panel chart.

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums

You may want to have a look at the diagram here: http://churchm.ag/visual-chart-starter-what-chart-should-you-use/

A simple Line chart over time would work best I believe. Plot both parameters over time. As soon as parameter one was implemented, you should be able to see an increase/decrease in parameter two.

Remember, The simpler the better
