Getting data

I have 2 works books where sheets names are same . i want to get data from one work to another .there are 50 sheets in both of the files

i have attached both same sheets in the excel work as i cannot attahced the file more than 1 mb

Unless you give a detailed description of what you want done , down to the last detail , it is very unlikely that any help will be forthcoming.

Dear Sir,

There are 2 work books of same data with some changes it was about 70 work sheets with names i ha given one example kovvuru i named it as old and new. i have brand name as column heading and chaneell names as row heading i need to get the data by sheet name ,brand name and channel name
i can get data of brand name and channel name by combing vlookup match but it s not vg my pupsose i think i neet use indreict

Please help

Hi ,

Nothing is clear.

1. You have two worksheet tabs named Kovvuru New and KOVVURU Old.

2. In the first tab , the brands are column headers in the range C38 : CK38 , though BR38 is blank.

In the second tab , the brands are the column headers in the range C37 : CQ37 , though there are quite a few blank cells in between.

4. In the first tab , the outlets are the row labels , in the range A39 : A47.

In the second tab , the outlets are the row labels in the range A38 : A46.

In both tabs , the row labels are in the same order.

Given that this much is understood , you now need to define your requirement ; you need to explain in enough detail the following :

i need to get the data by sheet name ,brand name and channel name

a. Where do you want to get the data ?

b. What is the data you want to get ?

c. How do you want to get this data ?

I want the data of old to new format .i.e chemists of lactogen1 is 14 i want to get the 14 in the new format like wise for all the brands and channel

Hi ,

You seem to be very economical with words ; it is difficult to get problems resolved with this approach.

Do you mean to say that you want that the tab named KOVVURU New should be populated with data from the tab named Kovvuru Old ?

What is the reason you are doing this ? Why are the two tabs not identical in their layout ?

I want to get the data from all the sheets of old file to the new one based on the sheet name ,brand name and channel name
