Formula to copy coulmns A & B from a file and populate excactly teh same on another file

I'm looking for a formula where I can extract/copy Columns A & B from an excel file into another excel file. Need to copy columns from Machine Prod Log 171015 into Master file,
so then I can use other formulas to extract what I need from the destination file.

Something like this in A3 copy down and across.
='C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\[Machine Prod Log 171015.xls]A - M'!A4

Replace path ''C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\" part with your file path.
