I have a excel sheet.

I need a formula that can find what i need.

I am not good in excel. So, Please help.


Example.


Date - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Value-1 0 0 1 2 0 5 2 0 0 = ( Formula Required )

Value-2 0 0 5 4 0 0 0 0 0 =

Value-3 0 0 1 2 5 3 2 1 0 =

Value-4 0 0 1 2 5 3 0 0 0 =


What formula i need is ( since (Exact date) my data coming "0" continuously.)

The answer should be like this. Hope you will help me.


Date - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Value-1 0 0 1 2 0 5 2 0 0 = 8

Value-2 0 0 5 4 0 0 0 0 0 = 5

Value-3 0 0 1 2 5 3 2 1 0 = 9

Value-4 0 0 1 2 5 3 0 0 0 = 7

Assuming that your data is in the range B2:J5 , the following formula , entered as an array formula , using CTRL SHIFT ENTER , will give you the result :


=MAX(IF($B2:$J2<>0,COLUMN($B2:$J2)-MIN(COLUMN($B2:$J2))+1))+1


Can you say what result should be displayed if , against Value-3 , you had the following data :


Value-3 0 0 1 2 5 3 2 1 4

Can you say what result should be displayed if , against Value-3 , you had the following data :


Date 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Value-3 0 0 1 2 5 3 2 1 4


Answer will be date - 1st.
