Folder indexing

Dear Sir @shrivallabha,

Forget that thread..

I want here just this thread"s your success code
As if I click on command button new blank sheet insert in current open workbook..
And in that blank sheet present your file"s that sheet
In which you prepare your formatted structure to get file list with hyperlink..

So I can just click & open that file ...on newly inserted sheet with your structure
With default folder location & with all file listed with hyperlink
I need not put your that file"s short cut anywhere
When I need to open file list with hyperlink ..

Hope my try to describe my requirement as understandable
Format can success..

Regards,

Chirag Raval

I have uploaded new version of this code.

Run the first macro for listing folder contents. Once finished press "Export Sheet". See if this is what you were expecting.

Dear sir @shrivallabha

Nice try,... but re-refer my post no 27,

There are macro need for below...

(1) Add new sheet in active workbook.

(2) in that newly inserted new sheet

(3) A1 to c7 in button in it "Click ME to get folder\file listing"

(4) A8 in instruction in it "Paste the folder path in cell A9 and Set B9 to true if you want to list subfolders”

(5) A9 with default value “C:\Users\sganuja\Desktop\1-DAILY ORDER STATUS + INV INFORMATION”

(5) A10 to rest blanks (ready to get list after click button pressed) with auto filter on it

(6) B9 "True/False"

(7) B10 ready for File List with auto filter

(8) C9 extension (with Default value *.xls)

(9) C10 with default value with “Hyperlink”

(10) D10 to F10 filter1, 2, 3

when I click on Click me list present with desired construct with all hyperlinks..

That’s it…

Why not then simply copy the worksheet (even workbook by save as) and save it? I see zero benefit of adding a button in such a case.
