floating message

Hi there,


Is that possible to have float message with content from another cell, when cursor stay on a cell? e.g. When point to a cell on sheet2 contains "12345678", then float message shows "table brown" acc. to below info. in sheet1.


Column A Column B

12345678 table brown

23456789 table blue

34567890 Chair red

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org forums


You could use a small macro to put the cells values into the Cell Comments for the cells next to them

This would happen anytime those cells values changes


Copy the following code into the Worksheet Module for the worksheet you want it to apply to

Adjust ranges to suit
