Hi

I have two files

File 1: list of ID's with a set of transaction-codes they are allowed to possess in a computersystem we use.

File 2: export from the system with the actual transaction-codes that are allocated.

In the column "Control" I want the transaction-codes that don't match.

Can anyone help me?

I have include an example-file:

Hi,

I have two files:

File 1: these are employees (personnel numbers) with the transaction codes they are allowed to have in our computer system

File 2: an export from our computer system containing the actually assigned transaction codes for every employee

What do I want:

I want to display the transaction codes that do not match in the cells under "Control"

Example for employee number 125:

Authorized transaction codes(File 1): 1 and 2 and 4

In export from the computer system(File 2: transaction code 2

In the "Control" column has to be displayed: 1, 4

Can anyone help me?

A few questions

Can you copy the tables into the same workbook?

How often do you want to do this?

How many records are there in each file?

In your example file there are 6 personnel number in each file will that always be the case?

Hi Hui,

I can't copy the tables into the same workbook

I want to do this every month

There are about 700 personnel numbers(this changes every month)

And there are 192 transaction codes(this changes around twice a year)

Correction on post above.

I CAN copy the tables to the same workbook.

Does that make it any easier?
