Finding Last Record

How do I find last record meeting criteria in excel using formula or combination of functions? Please help.

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org forums.


Typically you will multiply your criteria by teh row number and then take then amximum value


eg: Max((Month="June")*(Zone="West")*Row())


Obviously the ranges of Month, Zone and Row need to be the same length


Then use an Index or Offset with the above number to extract the values

Thks for your valuable comments. I used the sumproduct funcation along with index,max and row function and getting the desire result.
