I have a data file in which i have applied filter, while pasting the content or formula from other workbook the content gets copied on the row which are hidden.Is there any shotcut key or way to overcome this

After selecting the cells, press Ctrl+; to select only visible cells, and then copy the cells.

Can you please give some example or sample file as i am not able to copy as required. if I press Ctrl+; date is displayed

yes, if press the Ctrl+; it shows date but i want to paste the data in the filter portion but the same is also pasted in the hidden rows.Can anyone please help me on this
