FILTER on a row

I am not able to understand Mr.Narayan what you have posted the answer for my question on taking filter on a row. So, anybody explain me properly on Narayan has posted.

In B2:B5 select a cell and then in the drop down list choose your filter

then click "Set Filter" in B1, to reset filters choose "Set Range" in B1.


This filter is run by VBA and you will need to alter the code to suit your needs

Not sure why your data may be set out in such away as to need to filter on rows. Can you copy the data range and paste via transpose?? if you can after the paste select all then from the ribbon/toolbar select filter, this will but a drop down in each header and you will be able to filter to your hearts desire, doing it this way you will not need VBA(Very Bloody Awkward):)
 
I HAVE 3000 LINE ITEMS CONTAINING VARIOUS COLUMN I.E.

NAME OF PARTY TIN NUMBER STATUS BASIC VAT ADD VAT TOTAL

FEW PARTIES ARE APPEARING MORE THEN 2 TIME

WHEN I FILTERED 5 PARTY AND REPLACE STATUS WITH "MULTI INVOICE PARTY"

THEN ALL THE RAW WHICH I HAVE NOT SELCTED , ARE REPLACE WITH "MULTI INVOICE PARTY"


THIS PROBLEMS STARTED IN SHORT PERIOD IN MY PC BUT WHEN I SHARED THIS FILE WITH MY COULIGE THEN AFTER SAME PROCESS DONE BY ME AND NO PROBLEMS APPEAR.

PLEASE GUIDE ME......

I CAN DO BY FOLLOWING STEP BUT IT TAKE TIME........

SIR, I FIRST OF ALL I SELECT FIRST LINE ITEM ENTERED BY ME "MULTY INVOICE PARTY"

THEN I COPY COMMANA (CRTL+C)

THEN USED F5 KEY

THEN SELECTED "SPECIAL"

THEN SELEVED "VISIBLE CELL ONLY"

THEN COPY THE SAME IN GIVEN RANGE.


BUT IT TAKES TIME BECAUSE I HAVE TO PLAY THIS PROCESS MORE THEN 1 LACKS LINE ITEMS.

I think you will be asked to start your own topic, by giving a good decription in the Title bar others will see your problem and may be able too help, burying your request in others post will not help, TYPING EVERY THING IN CAPITALS IS THE SAME AS SHOUTING and will put people off from reading your post

Before I explain what the posted link does , can you detail your requirement ? How is your data organized , and what do you wish to do ?


If you can upload your file to a file sharing website like speedy.sh , and post the download link here , that will be great.
