Hi There Luke M

Just to inform you I will not be able to post the Macro I have used Because it does not work. When I went into it a day later all the dates had updated to that day's date (22/9/12) and today it has updated again to (23/9/12) So it does not fit the purpose and anyway I do not really care for Macro's I much prefer a straight forward Formula.Anyway it was worth a try.

I am not sure what the context is. But your message sounds very rude and thankless. Please understand that Luke and all other members of this forum provide help on voluntary basis. Please restate your question and be kind to others. Read our forum rules and obey them all times to get best results.

I have just logged in on the Forum and I am somewhat perplexed by your answer to me regarding my post to Luke. I am never discourteous or rude to anyone on this Forum as I am sure the many people I have dealt with will verify. The post we are talking about concerns a Macro that I made not Luke and Luke asked me to post it on here so other posters would be able to use it if required and I agreed to this but on checking it out the next day I discovered it did not work as I had intended it to in fact it was not fit for the purpose. So I was informing Luke that I would not be posting the said Macro due to its incapability. So I was dumbfounded to find that you think I was rude and impolite.

Please accept my apologies. I misunderstood this as a question. As I said, "I am not sure about the context." but since a majority of threads are new questions, I assumed this too was a question. I feel embarrassed to hurt you.
 
Perhaps a bit of confusion would of been avoided if guitarman had posted in the original thread, understand what he was trying to achieve, ie Luke M's attention but by splitting the thread confusion arises and those following the thread loose out.

Please do not feel embarrassed. The incident is forgotten as far as I am concerned. bobhc is right I should have continued on my original post and then this misunderstanding would never have arisen.
