Excel - Data - Hidden Links or Formulae

Hi, I recently encountered a problem with one of the excel files (OFFICE 7) when I tried to import data through ACCESS IMPORT function "DOCMD Transferspreadsheet" method.


Problem: When I imported data, the table does not contain the same data as excel file.


Problem resolved this way: I copied and pasted the data only (text) into another excel file and imported this second file and it worked fine. The data was imported 100% correctly.


Can you please let me know what could be the problem with the first excel file.
