Excel Chart Background Image

Hi,

I have an Excel File which contains a Chart with a background image.I wish to remove this image,but when I do Format Plot Area->Fill Effects,all the options are greyed out.

Any help would be appreciated.

A few ideas

Check that the worksheet isn't protected and if it is, can you unprotect it

Also check that someone hasn't put an image behind the chart and made the chart transparent

Also the chart and the picture may be grouped, right click on the chart and see if ungroup is an option

this is strange...

check if the file is read only. also, the image could be plot area's background.
