Excel automatic calculation

Hi.
Since a long time ago I noticed that Excel automatic calculation can be stopped by clicking at keyboard.

Why this behaviour?
I really didn't notice any incomplete calculation...

Scenario description:
- Excel 2016 (previous worked, too)
- Automatic calculation "on"
- At a larger spreadsheet where changing something leads to ~20 seconds to recalculate
- In that time, just pressing directional arrows whould make the results instantaneous.

Sorry, just had a second though about that and it actually stops Excel from calculating.

Excel pauses calculation as soon as you touch a key as Excel assumes that you are going to change something and hence it will need to restart calculations again anyway
