I guess this is more of a powerpoint question but does anyone know what the purpose of Paste>Keep Destination Theme & Link and Paste>Use Destination Theme & Data is in PowerPoint.
I wanted to link an Excel chart into Powerpoint and thought this was a new way to link reather than using the standby of Paste Special>Paste Link; however, when I use the Paste>Keep Destination Theme it doesn't seem to link. Microsoft Help says you have to click on the Refresh Button (which seems foolish in itself) but even doing that it did not update the chart the way I expected it to. Guess I will stick with the old standby of Paste Special>Paste LInk but I was curious what the point of these new commands are?
Anyone?
