Employee and Equipment Invoice

I have figured out the Data Validation for several drop down menus, but can't get a handle on IF and VLOOKUP, so I can get data to auto populate after selecting an employee. Saw you on google and thought I'd see what you have to offer. I need help, but not sure how I get it and what I should or should not include in this post. Any suggestions would realy help.
