Hi all,

Just wondering if it possible to embed a weather report in Excel, either saving it as xls or as a webpage.

Website

http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/21?&search=newquay&itemsPerPage=10&region=world

Embed code

<iframe src="http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/21/Next3DaysEmbed.xhtml?target=_parent" allowTransparency="true" width="306" height="435" frameborder="0">You must have a browser that supports iframes to view the BBC weather forecast</iframe>

Tried Data>Import>New Web Query - no luck.

Thanks

Paul

Hi mr_hiboy,

Can't you just insert an Hyperlink to the website in a cell? Then you can save your file

Hi, I'm trying to build a report which has sales data shown along side the weather charts, I have everything automated, so just would like to be able hit print rather using a link.

Cheers

Hi mr_hiboy,

There is a print button on that web page, if you press that it then gives you a sample and asks which printer to select. If you were to set up a dummy printer to create a PDF, then you could then use that to paste into your report?

Here's a link to the one I use

Paul,

Can you use another weather site which is more "link-able"?

@oldchippy, thanks for that link. Might work as a work around.

@Hui, any suggestions?

I was hoping to simply embed the graph, must be possible?! Chandoo?

Thanks guys
