Dynamic Sum Range linked to value in another cell

My current chart shows data by period over the course of six years. I need to change it to only show YTD total for the six years. I would like to be able to have the sum range increase for all columns as data is added to the 2019 column. For example, when data is added to Period 08 for 2019, I would like all totals to update to include all 8 periods. I also need to note % increase from the previous year's YTD total.

I appreciate your taking time to help me find a solution. Thank you.

See attached. Add values in G12 and below and observe how the smaller chart i added changes.
Relies on defined names, firstly on one called YrMinus0 dependent on the number of cells containing numbers in the range G5:G16. Other named ranges are based on that one and are used in the ranges plotted by the chart, including the category names (Period1, Period2 etc.)
Ths doesn't address all your requirements, I realise.
