Drop down Menu

What can or should I do to keep the arrow of the drop down menu to be shown without hovering the mouse over it?

Thanks,

G

Hi Guity,

This is not possible for the in-cell Drop down validations...

However you may use the ActiveX controls to accomplish the same.

Hi Vijay,

Thank you so very much for the response. My boss says why my drop down menu doesn't show itself? I am looking for a way to get the drop down menu shown without hovering the mouse over it. Which Active x control should I use? Can I show all drop-down menu content through Active X control, then have my formula picks up the value from there? Any response is greatly appreciated. I am working on a project with Dynamic charts....

Regards,

Guity

Hi Guity,

If possible send me the template to look at, I will then add a few examples of how and where to use the ActiveX control and revert.

Vijay,

Unfortunately, I can't share the files, otherwise in regards to how to use Active X, I would have sent out to you at the very first time. Can you please send me a couple of examples?

I have three drop down menus. Two of them are linked to two lists of all states. One is linked to a list of 4 categories.

I have Count Ifs and Sum Ifs that pick up the values from these drop down menus.

Therefore:

First Drop Down Menu:

52 States

Second Drop Down Menu:

52 States

Third Drop Down Menu:

Category A, Category B, Category C, Category D

Please let me know what I need to do.

Thanks a lot. Your help is greatly appreciated.
