Doing Formulas in Excel

Hi all,

The questions are within the spreadsheet I have attached.

There are 4 questions of which I have asked. As I'm fairly new to Excel I'm learning from the very beginning. I've created a dummy spreadsheet and tested some formulas.

Could you please feedback on questions 1-4?

Q1: Yes. But you can also use: =AVERAGE(B4:C4)
Q2: =VLOOKUP($C2,Sheet1!$A$2:$C$4,2,FALSE)
Q3: Yes, That's how to use If()
Q4: Yes, That's how to use Countif()
 
For Q2, change to this:

=VLOOKUP(C2,Sheet1!$A$2:$B$4,2,FALSE) and copied down

For Q3 and Q4 I think is no problem, and dont understand with your Q1

It works perfect. I'm gaining more confidence now and I'm determined to learn the more complicated things on Excel as time goes by.

Regarding Q2 I was just asking if I used the average formula correctly. Also many thanks for looking at the other questions. Much appreciated.

I Have large set of data in one sheet and had some of the Updated data cells in another sheet. can we able to find on which cell had difference. ?
Please suggest
