Hey there,

First time poster long time reader of the blog.

Just found out a real niggle with my bank and wondered if you Excel geniuses could help?

The bank download to Excel now does not include a transaction description. Im getting nowhere fast with the Bank. They also offer a QIF download which does work.

Any tricks to import QIF into Excel?

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers,

PM.

QIF - as in Quicken?

Never used it, but: http://lcbell4.tripod.com/softwareman4life/qif_to_csv_converter/qif_to_csv_converter.html

Seems easy enough.

After reading Glens post I realised I cannot tell my Gs from my Qs (I blame the fonts :) ).

This link may help you in your conversion.

Glen you have better sight than this old man :)

Why not just Google "Convert QIF to Excel"

https://www.google.com/search?source=ig&rlz=&q=convert+qif+to+excel
